What this site is

Screen Free Parent offers general information, ideas and product picks for raising kids mostly off-screen. It is not medical, psychological, legal or professional safety advice. You know your child best. Read our safety disclaimer, supervise children, and follow every product's instructions and warnings.

Products, prices and links

We link to makers' and shops' own websites. They, not we, sell the products, set prices, ship orders and handle returns and warranties. Prices and availability are shown as listed on the date we checked and can change. The seller's site is the final word. Some links may become affiliate links. See our affiliate disclosure.

The situation helper

The helper uses an AI model only to understand what you typed. Its plans and picks come from our own catalog. It can misread a request. Check the ages and warnings on anything it suggests, and use your judgment.

Using our content

Our writing, plans, reply cards and printables are for your personal, non-commercial use: print them, share them with family, stick them on the fridge. Please don't republish or sell them, or use them to train AI models, without asking. Product photos belong to their makers and are used to identify the products we discuss. See image credits.
